  • Face the ladder at all times
  • Move steadily — don't rush
  • Follow crew/coxswain instructions
  • Abort if conditions change

  • Secure ladder and equipment
  • Report any defects or near misses
  • Inform Master / Team Leader
  • Log transfer completion
